Quebrada de Humahuaca (Humahuaca Ravine)

This great canyon carved out by the Río Grande (Grande River) was once an entrance gateway to the Inca Empire used by natives and Spaniards. Declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2003, Quebrada de Humahuaca has a heavenly landscape full of interesting archaeological sites framed by amazing colourful mountains.
